Growing up in and being a Florida native, living on a small farm with eight siblings in west Florida was a humbling experience. I like to say, I'm a "southern belle" living life in "Paradise" Florida. My love for the arts culminated while taking Humanities classes in college where I was an education major and at homes where I would use my interior walls as a canvas to add color to my living spaces.

As an abstract painter, I work primarily with acrylic on canvas, using paint brushes, scrap tools, color mixing to produce my artwork creating layers and texture. My work is an attempt to capture harmony and balance throughout each piece to touch the spirit and exhilarate the mind of the viewer. My home studio is where I'm inspired and my mindset of tapping into my passion for abstract painting creations take place.  As a self-taught painter, I continue to apply techniques, skills and technology each day to reach new creative limits. Expressing myself through my paintings is a way of showing my creativity and mindset. Its my hope that the viewer will see my work as order, harmony, simplicity and having a sense of connection. My paintings have been  exhibited in the Tampa Bay area and I've found personal and professional satisfaction producing and sharing my work with others.
